Andrew Gordon to stand again in Nethermayne

Andrew Gordon has been re-selected by local Labour members to stand in Nethermayne at the Borough elections in May, Andrew was first elected in May2011 as one of the youngest councillor in the country and, for his work, he was shortlisted for Councillor of the year award.

Over the last few years, Andrew has been a vocal supporter of the Green Action Group that is fighting against the development at Dry Street, a keen supporter of disability equality being one of the only councillors who attends the South Essex Disability Forum and active in campaigning against part night lighting.
