Thank you for taking the time to read my election address. I would like to start by telling you a little bit about me. I have lived in this borough for the past thirteen years. I have spent the last fifteen years as a psychiatric nurse supporting individuals and their families to overcome their mental health issues. I understand the challenges our health services face, through our NHS, in combatting mental health issues.
I have seen numerous amount of lives being destroyed through poor services and financial cuts. I have also worked with those most vulnerable in society, mostly the homeless who have lost contact with their families, relatives and services. My main purpose was to re-integrate them into the mainstream. I would also like to thank all of you who I have met recently.
I am determined to make Laindon a place to be proud of and remove the stigma that it is a poor area. Also, that everyone will enjoy living in and a borough that is safe, clean and tidy – where everyone can park, where there are activities for everyone of all age. I will thrive to achieve what I believe my purpose and the will of the people should receive. You will also see my contact details contained within this leaflet.
Please get in touch with me if you wish to discuss any issues or any of my campaign pledges. If I am lucky enough to have your vote and become your councillor: I will always, fight and stand up for your need as a community.
Vote Labour on 3rd May for a better deal in Laindon
